AchieveMath™
Our AchieveMath program develops overall mathematical proficiency and improves problem-solving skills among struggling math learners.
Research-based instruction, interesting real-world application, and basic skills instruction and reinforcement are at the core of this program. Skills are taught sequentially, based on careful individual assessment. New concepts are introduced through demonstrations and manipulatives, and teachers guide and support students as they demonstrate and practice new understandings.
Progress is recorded and monitored through daily lesson assessments. Learning plans are developed individually and modified to reflect the needs of each student.
As with all our offerings, programs are tailored to meet the objectives, schedules, and funding resources of our school partners.
AchieveMath programs are offered in three formats:
- Individualized:
for students who require intensive intervention, typically delivered in a 3:1 student-teacher ratio.
- Small Group:
typically delivered in a 6:1 student-teacher ratio.
- PlusTech:
A cost-effective option that combines small-group instruction with individualized, guided computer learning.
