| New Jersey PL 192/193
Through New Jersey PL 192/193 (laws of 1977), Catapult Learning can provide instructional and diagnostic services to students attending New Jersey's private and religious schools.
To access the 192/193 funding source, school districts can partner with Catapult Learning to provide instructional and diagnostic services at the school either in a designated classroom, in a portable classroom or a mobile instructional unit.
New Jersey 192/193 Program Facts:
- Catapult Learning serves more than 25,000 students in 45 school districts throughout New Jersey.
- As an agency approved by the New Jersey Department of Education, we deliver flexible and diverse services that comply with state and federal statutes.
- Our programs are supported directly through state funds and provided at no cost to parents.
- All Catapult Learning teachers are state certified, providing expertise in educational techniques and best practices.
- Professional development as well as quality assurance is provided and encouraged.
Under 192/193, students are eligible if they:
- Are enrolled full time in a New Jersey non-public elementary or high school
- Have a parent or guardian who is a New Jersey resident
- Would be eligible as a public school student
- Are 5 to 20 years old for PL 192 services and 5 to 21 years old for PL 193
- Meet the criteria for eligibility as determined by the Department of Education for the specific service
