AchieveMath PlusTech
Our AchieveMath PlusTech program provides a lower cost alternative to our Small Group math program.
The format allows schools to accommodate larger groups cost-effectively by supplementing small-group instruction with computer learning that builds on taught concepts.
The AchieveMath™ PlusTech program enables Catapult Learning to provide instruction in small groups, while doubling the capacity of the Catapult Learning Center and providing greater flexibility in scheduling. At any given time within an instructional session, 6 students are working in small learning groups with their Catapult Learning teacher while another 6 students are seated at computers completing individualized lessons as they are monitored and encouraged by a lab technician.
Important Features:
- Students are encouraged to monitor their own performance and are rewarded for continued incremental progress
- A balance of both small group teacher-led instruction and computer instruction is maintained
- Students are provided with computer-generated mathematical experiences that directly teach core skills
- Curriculum is easily and frequently modified to meet classroom objectives and district and state standards
- Frequent assessments help teachers track progress for each student
The AchieveMath™ PlusTech program incorporates three specific areas of instructional support that are proven to positively impact student progress:
- Integrated, high quality educational software
- Opportunities for students to interact directly with their teacher and their peers in a small group instructional setting
- Individual online tutoring at a student's instructional level to ensure that new and previously taught concepts are understood and that each student experiences immediate success with appropriately leveled materials
