| A central, onsite resource library.
As part of our professional development services, we provide lending libraries in schools to facilitate and support classroom teachers’ skills in teaching students in core subjects such as reading, language, math, and science—elementary through high school.
These collections include a variety of reading, math, writing, and learning theory reference and support materials in multi-media formats such as video/DVD workshops with correlated viewer’s guides, activity books, and thematic and multicultural literature. We also include materials to support teacher’s differentiated instruction for the Title I students in their classrooms.
All materials are carefully selected and vetted by our educational quality staff and are categorized by content area for quick, easy access. Library resources typically include:
- Professional development resource books, videos, and DVDs
- Multi-media kits from organizations such as ASCD, IRA, NCTM, and more
- Math and language arts manipulatives and games to individualize instruction
- Audio book collections to support differentiated instruction with students
- Support technology including overhead projector, VCR, LCD projector, and electronic white boards
