AchieveWriting™
Our AchieveWriting program is designed to help elementary and middle-school students improve their written composition skills.
Students explore the stages of the writing process—prewriting, drafting, revision, editing, and creating the final draft—through both narrative and expository writing for a variety of purposes. At the end of each lesson students have the opportunity to publish their writing and create their own books. The program builds on students’ background knowledge, expands their relevant vocabulary, and provides supplemental activities to enhance spoken language skills.
Students have opportunities for direct instruction, guided practice, discussion, partner activities, and independent practice. The overarching goal of the program is to allow students to apply newly acquired skills directly to the classroom.
