An instructional services company with a local office in Middletown has started a scholarship program for students attending Archdiocese of Philadelphia schools in Bucks County.

Officials from Catapult Learning Inc. recently announced that it has endowed one $2,500 scholarship a year for the next 10 years.

The awards will go to students at all grade levels “who, despite (learning or behavorial) challenges, put forth tremendous effort to achieve academic success,” they added.

The first scholarship has been awarded to Joleigh Yorkus, a fifth-grader at St. Joseph/St. Robert School in Warrington.
