An op-ed co-authored by Catapult Learning Regional Vice President Brooke Violante Kelly and Marwa Abdinoor, a senior at a Hartford-area high school, was recently published on CT Viewpoints. The sister site to The Connecticut Mirror, CT Viewpoints provides thoughtful commentary and robust discussion of public policy issues vital to the future of the state.

In the op-ed piece, Kelly and Abdinoor wrote about the success of a recent community collaboration that brought an innovative mobile dental program to High Road School of Hartford. The op-ed, “The value of a young mind – a Hartford case in point,” discusses the evolution of the idea of the program, the extensive work that went into bringing the program to fruition, and the impact on the students and their learning, both academic and real-world.
