Class of 2018 graduate Jordan Green, is looking forward to graduation and excited about his transition from high school to college. Jordan has been accepted, and will be attending Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD in the fall. He plans to major in Psychology with hopes of becoming a counselor some day. Jordan enjoys helping people, and has seen the effect having someone in school to talk to has had on him and wants emulate that in the lives of others.

Since being at High Road Academy, he has noticed that he has matured and developed a more positive attitude and outlook on life. He also feels that he has established a strong work ethic, which will help him once he begins taking college courses. Jordan credits our transition staff for helping him to build a resume, providing him with information on opening a bank account, saving financially for his future, and also how to dress for success when going on interviews or to meetings.

Jordan’s biggest challenge/fear about going to college is getting caught up with the wrong crowd. He hopes that he makes the right decisions and is able to choose friends that possess the same work ethnic and desire to do well in college and beyond. The one thing he is looking forward to is being able to experience and enjoy the college experience; which includes being on his own, making new friends, and of course the parties. In addition to his acceptance to Morgan State, Jordan also was accepted to attend two trade schools.

The administration and staff would like to congratulate Jordan on a job well done here at Highroad Academy and wish him nothing but success as he transitions to this next phase of his life.
