On September 21st, student participated in cooking class with staff and peers. The student made scramble eggs, bacon, and toast with jam. Staff Ford would demonstrate the steps to prepare a hearty breakfast while each student observes.. Then each student were given two eggs to crack into a bowl and mix with a whisk and given spices such as salt and pepper to add flavor to there eggs. Each student were given the opportunity to cook their eggs independently with staff and then place onto their plates for breakfast.
The purpose of cooking on Friday is to help the kids independently prepare and prep there own food. Perform proper hygiene before cooking and following allow to recipes.
