Moms and mother figures were invited to indulge in an assortment of muffins and beverages at our annual Muffins with Mom event. This is a special occasion where students can show the special women in their lives how much they are loved. Above that, it’s a fun opportunity for moms to spend quality time with their child in a non-academic setting. Students and their moms played games and won prizes. As an added treat, a couple of students showcased their special talents! “I liked winning a prize,” 10th grader Takiyah Johnson said. “And spending time with my mom.”
