Thanks to our friends at LandCare, and the hard work of all of the Sierra School students, we were able to revitalize the large planter area and prepare it for winter crops. Using almost ten yards of dirt and an entire team of professionals and (professional students) we are looking forward to growing lettuce, snap peas, carrots, bok choy, radishes, rosemary, and other assorted vegetables.

It was great seeing all of the kids work together and they are continuing to do a great job of tending to, and maintaining the garden that they spent so much time preparing and cultivating.

Special thanks to Ms. Kim for her insight and Mr. Justin Heilmann from LandCare for his huge, generous donation of time and resources..thank you, we all greatly appreciate it!
