We are extremely excited here at High Road School of Cecil County to announce our partnership with the Habitat for Humanity Restore in Bel Air, Maryland. Our students will have the opportunity to take their learning outside of the classroom and into the community by lending a helping hand at the ReStore.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are independently owned home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in local communities around the world.

Our student volunteers will be introduced not only to the importance of volunteer work within the community, but be given the opportunity to work within a real-life work environment, learn valuable job skills, and be part of a retail team completing daily tasks throughout the store such as unloading, sorting & stocking donations, working the cash register, showcasing customer service skills and many more.
