The week prior to Thanksgiving was a busy one. The Transition program shopped and cooked food for our Annual Thanksgiving Feast. Students, staff, and families gathered for the event. Food was served and the entertainment was amazing. Our school choir performed “Roar” by Katy Perry and students Alex P. and Joey M. along with a few Sierra Staff, calling themselves Joey and the 4 Knuckle Heads, performed a Bob Marley song “No Woman, No Cry.” Our canned food drive classroom winners were Mr. Brooks’ class which received a pizza party! Art work created by classrooms were auctioned off as well. On Friday, students participated in a Turkey Trot around the school ending the week before our break.
