Students at North Dorchester Middle School have been discussing the importance of hygiene in recent weeks. They have completed many games, activities, and discussions surrounding this topic, and recently they created hygiene kits for the homeless. These kits were assembled by students with a message on each bag to be donated to the local Salvation Army. Dylan, a 7th grader, said, “This is an important thing to do because some people can’t get things like soap and deodorant.” The students demonstrated impressive maturity and empathy during this activity.
