Our transition department has partnered with the Delaware Humane Society, allowing our students to volunteer in activities that help them gain hands-on experience, learn new skills, and build positive relationships. Students are required to fill out an application, attend an orientation, and participate in training courses prior to volunteering. During our last visit, students assisted with folding and storing clean linens, sweeping and mopping, washing food bowls, and sanitizing toys.
