Today, our students learned how to make “fidget spinners” atSpringfield Technical Community College. The lesson exposed students to what it’s like to work in a modern advanced manufacturing machine shop. Thank you to Steve Sinkwich, an instructor in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at STCC who explained the fabrication process to the students.
The Workforce Development Center at STCC is working with area schools to expose potential students to various career paths. High Road School students learned about CPR (healthcare) and digital printing earlier in the week.
