The students in Academic II had the pleasure of hosting Officer Huston of the Wright City Police Department and his canine partner, Athena, for our first in a series of guest speakers. Officer Huston spoke to the students about his years of experience in law enforcement, offered practical suggestions to the students interested in pursuing a career as a police officer, and ended the day with a demonstration of Athena’s detection skills.
