On March 4th Room 4 students welcomed “Emma” the Guinea Pig into our classroom community!
The week before we did research to learn about Emma, her habitat and what it would take to care for her. Out newest student at the time named her even before we saw her. Her name suits her perfectly!
Students across campus stay on level to spend time with Emma who loves to be petted and cuddled with. She is a joy to have.
When my students can’t quite articulate their feelings, Emma understands and is always ready to give unconditional love; No words required!
