For the second year Capital Academy was excited to participate in the chick embryology program offered through Penn State Extension/ Dauphin County 4H! Students learned about development and care of eggs during the 21 day incubation period. With the assistance of Sonya Nace, Penn State Extension, students candled the eggs to get a glimpse into the development before hatching! Out of the 12 eggs, five chicks hatched! Those five chicks will live out their days at the home of one of Capital Academy’s teachers!
