Recently in Environmental Science, Kennara has been working on observing and comparing Earth materials. Today’s lesson was a Groundwater Model Lab Simulation where we engaged in a hands on lesson that gave us a greater view of Well Drilling.
During the simulation, Kennara layered Earth materials while pouring water as a demonstration of rain, then had to use a pipet to “drill” for water and record her observations. Kennara was surprised to learn how the different Earth materials affect the flow of water.
