Effective, Inquiry-Based STEM, Powered by the Engineering Design Process
Engineering bridges all STEM disciplines and provides students with authentic opportunities to engage in meaningful problem solving. In this interactive, hands-on session, participants will learn how to design and implement effective STEM instruction informed by the Engineering Design Process. They will also examine how to facilitate inquiry-based lessons that hone key skills, including the habits of mind, students needs to succeed in the 21st century, and apply their new learning to reflect on specific ways to infuse STEM principles in their specific content areas, whether they teach in STEM-related fields or in the humanities.
