EANS II is the second round of $2.75 billion in federal Emergency Assistance to Non-public Schools, as provided by the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act (March 2021). Under EANS II, a State Education Agency (SEA) provides services or assistance to non-public schools that enroll a significant number of students from low-income households and that were most impacted by COVID-19.
We are now in the application stage of EANS II—all states have applied and awaiting approval from the U. S. Department of Education. This webinar will provide real-time information, such as how states have approached the poverty thresholds questions and the implications of the different approaches.
We have already started delivering services under EANS I to Connecticut, Massachusetts, and many other states. This webinar will also provide updates on the implementation of EANS I including which states have begun services, the services being provided, and implementation successes and challenges. A current EANS partner Principal will join the conversation to discuss her strategy behind maximizing her EANS I funds to best support her school community.
Join this webinar to learn how to maximize your EANS funds in Massachusetts and Connecticut including strategies current EANS partners utilized to get the best support for their school communities.
