Catapult Schools’ Career Fair Featured in Local San Diego Newspaper

Springall Academy and Sierra Academy of San Diego, members of the Catapult Learning Schools Group, hosted a Career Fair for the schools' students on April 18th. The event was featured in an article in the May/June 2018 issue of the Mission Times Courier. Several businesses—including the YMCA, Starbucks, and Kona Ice Snow Cone—as well as individual professionals participated in the fair, which was attended by students from the two schools. Catapult Learning School Director Op-Ed on Autism and Inclusion Featured in Local Colorado Paper

An op-ed written by Sarah Strothkamp, Executive Director of Sierra School of Weld County, was featured in The Greeley Tribune, a print and online newspaper that serves Greeley and Weld Counties in Colorado. In the op-ed, It’s Time to Reflect on Inclusion, Strothkamp discusses the importance—and value—of inclusion both for  students with special needs and the community in which the students live. Mobile Dental Program Piloted at High Road School of Hartford

An op-ed co-authored by Catapult Learning Regional Vice President Brooke Violante Kelly and Marwa Abdinoor, a senior at a Hartford-area high school, was recently published on CT Viewpoints. The sister site to The Connecticut Mirror, CT Viewpoints provides thoughtful commentary and robust discussion of public policy issues vital to the future of the state.
