The St. Joseph School District said the number of students enrolled in summer school for 2019 has increased since last year. The district gave credit for the increase to their new summer school provider, Catapult Learning. They said 1,300 more students have signed up for summer classes compared to 2018. As the final day of classes approaches, those in the St. Joseph School District are gearing up for a new summer school program. Summer Journeys through the company Catapult Learning LLC is different from the district’s in-house programs of the past, focusing on STEM-based projects and classes like robotics and rockets.
