Catapult Learning Principal Seminar Featured Acclaimed Speaker Richard Lavoie

April 5, 2017, Camden, New Jersey – Catapult Learning recently welcomed Richard Lavoie, M.A., M.Ed., to speak to a group of more than 200 Lakewood, New Jersey principals and administrators. The event was held on Thursday, March 30, at Lake Terrace Hall in Lakewood.

Mr. Lavoie’s presentation, “The School Principalship: Doing Things Right by Doing the Right Things” identified the traits of an effective school leader and provided strategies that principals can use when serving colleagues, students and parents.

Mr. Lavoie has served as an administrator of residential programs for children with special needs for over 30 years. He holds three degrees in Special Education and two Honorary Doctorates in Education from the University of Massachusetts and Mitchell College. Mr. Lavoie is the bestselling author of “It’s So Much Work to Be Your Friend: Helping the Child with Learning Disabilities Find Social Success.”

In addition to Mr. Lavoie’s presentation, seminar attendees met with experts from Catapult Learning, the premier educational leader in Lakewood, who exhibited a display highlighting the wealth of resources as well as educational talent they provide to Lakewood’s schools.
