School Year 20-21 Extended Learning Day: Student Registration

Parents of students who attend any of the following Islamic schools: Al-Ihsan Academy, Al-Madinah School, Al-Noor School, Al-Iman School, Muslim Center School, Al-Madrasa Al-Islamiya, Rising Stars Islamic School, Islamic Cultural Center School can now enroll their children in the FREE Extended Learning Day program for Grades K-12. This Title I program is offered free to eligible students with funding from the Department of Education Office of Non-Public Schools, to build strong academic knowledge and skills to meet the challenging goals of the school curriculum.

Due to ongoing concerns around prioritizing student safety amidst the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, this program will be delivered remotely. Your child will connect virtually with his/her teacher for scheduled sessions after school – students will need to have online access in a safe and comfortable space. The program will provide online, print and manipulative resources to address the academic and enrichment needs of each student. Only registered students currently attending an Islamic School listed above can attend the Extended Learning Day programming.

This opportunity is made available to K-12 NYC students in select Islamic Schools thanks to Title I dollars through the DOE Office of Non-Public Schools.

Registration has closed for the 2020 Virtual Summer Journey Program.  We are still processing applications that were previously received.  Please check your inbox for upcoming communications.
