Catapult Learning in Colorado
Partnering with Districts and BOCES across Colorado
All children deserve an education that goes beyond academics and enables them to grow into responsible, self-sufficient adults. Since 2014, Catapult Learning has partnered with local districts and BOCES to provide specialized education programming for students in Colorado who have not found success in the traditional classroom due to a variety of intensive special needs. Through our In-District Classrooms, you can build capacity in your district and reduce out of district referrals while providing your students with the services they need in their home district
Our flexible academic and language-based models, coupled with behavioral and life skills programming allow us to fully accommodate students with all forms of learning challenges. Through the use of various academic and behavioral assessments we are able to properly identify unique learning challenges and create effective, multifaceted and individualized education plans for our students. The goal of all plans is to ultimately improve the learning, living and life potential for our students of all ages.

I believe that [our son’s] opening up is due to you. He’s become more comfortable in his own skin and while he’s developing some new behaviors, many of his earlier and difficult behaviors are minimizing and/or he’s learning to deal with himself better. I believe that’s due to the coping skills you are teaching him. I realize that you don’t do it all on your own, and everyone at Sierra is incredible, but you have touched our hearts and lives in ways that you will never know.

I want to convey to you all how impressed I am with the school and staff. I have witnessed so many little interactions that are such a big deal and so beautiful. I love your philosophy and unity. You all function like a well oiled machine. We are so thankful to be a part of the school. Thank you for the opportunity you are providing for our son.

Individualized Special Education Classrooms
Rooted in strong collaboration and communication between school districts and Catapult Learning, our In-District Classrooms serve students in classrooms within a school or other district building utilizing our flexible individualized academic and language models. By creating these opportunities in your district, you will be able to provide a continuum of services to your students in their local community while still offering them the personalized attention they require to succeed.
Through our classrooms, Catapult Learning’s certified and qualified staff works in unison with district special education and general education teachers to ensure that your students receive the maximum benefit from both district resources and our program. Students will have direct access to their district’s curriculum, equipment, and amenities as they benefit from our targeted, research-based interventions. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in daily school-wide activities and events (e.g., lunch, recess, and extracurricular activities), as well as benefit from peer interaction with the school population.
Serving Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders
In Colorado, over 15,000 students are on the autism spectrum. Autism presents differently in every child which is why Catapult Learning believes that there’s no “one size fits all” approach to education. Our goal is to support our students in developing the skills necessary to live the most achievable independent lifestyle which may or may not include independent living, vocational training which leads to employment, and/or transitioning to a more traditional academic classroom setting. Learn more about how our programs can provide the necessary support for students across the autism spectrum.
Two Program Options
Through collaboration with a student’s IEP team, we are able to choose the correct most appropriate learning model based on a given student’s present levels of performance, social capabilities, motor coordination, communication development, and ability to learn in a group setting. No matter the educational track, our goal is to produce meaningful and measurable advancements in each student’s behavioral, academic, and social development.
