Catapult Learning in Missouri
High Road School has designed structured and safe learning environments that are least restrictive for students with needs that are beyond the capabilities of a traditional school setting. They have become a trusted partner. We are extremely grateful to have their assistance. In short, they are committed to collaborating with the District to serve the needs of our students; the ones who need us the most.

Partnering with Schools and Districts across California
All children deserve an education that goes beyond academics and enables them to grow into responsible, self-sufficient adults. In Missouri, Catapult Learning has partnered with schools districts to provide specialized education programming for students who have not found success in the traditional classroom due to a variety of intensive special needs.
In our AdvancED accredited schools, our certified teachers and staff provide individualized academic and behavioral interventions with an innovative learning approach, individualized attention, and all the necessary support services students need to overcome barriers to education.
Our flexible academic and language-based models, coupled with behavioral and life skills programming allow us to fully accommodate students with all forms of learning challenges. Through the use of various academic and behavioral assessments we are able to properly identify unique learning challenges and create effective, multifaceted and individualized education plans for our students. The goal of all plans is to ultimately improve the learning, living and life potential for our students of all ages.

Serving Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders

In Missouri, 1 in 10 students (according to Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education) receiving special education services are on the autism spectrum. Autism presents differently in every child which is why Catapult Learning believes that there’s no “one size fits all” approach to education. Our goal is to support our students in developing the skills necessary to live the most achievable independent lifestyle which may or may not include independent living, vocational training which leads to employment, and/or transitioning to a more traditional academic classroom setting. Learn more about how our programs can provide the necessary support for students across the autism spectrum.
Our Insight
Aaron O’Neill, Director of High Road School of Wright City, writes how important it is to define one trait found in those who are successful in working with people with autism as well as other disorders: Empathy. Two Program Options
Through collaboration with a student’s IEP team, we are able to choose the correct most appropriate learning model based on a given student’s present levels of performance, social capabilities, motor coordination, communication development, and ability to learn in a group setting. No matter the educational track, our goal is to produce meaningful and measurable advancements in each student’s behavioral, academic, and social development.
