Hello, my name is Camille Ochoa, classroom 3 teacher and this is my 2nd year working at Sierra School. I graduated with a Special Education degree and currently working on my Level II Education Specialist credential. My goal this year is to create a fun learning environment using different strategies to help meet my students’ needs. I’m super excited to see what’s in store for me and my aloha-mazing class this school year!
One of the things I look forward to is our classroom started to implement the B.E.S.T program. This program allows us to get to know our students better by assessing their functional living, language and academic skill set. Then we create an individualized program to best support their needs to be successful at school and out in the community. It’s incredible to see our students’ growth in such a short period of time and we would like to see them in their full potential as the year progresses!
