Our High-Dosage Tutoring Program

Our solutions work by activating existing and relevant knowledge, building prerequisite skills, and reinforcing foundational skills. Our flexible program is rooted in best-practices for core subject tutoring, scalable to fit the ALL IN VA program.

Catapult Learning’s High-Dosage Tutoring program utilizes our Acceleration Framework — a research-based approach that includes:

Academic and/or social-emotional assessments pinpoint areas of strength and areas in which students need support

Using diagnostic data, our instructors create individualized academic and social-emotional learning goals to guide instruction as well as establish a baseline from which to monitor growth

Tutors provide personalized and targeted support aligned to each student’s individualized plan

Ongoing assessments to monitor progress, allowing real-time differentiation to maximize growth and achievement

Our High-Dosage Tutoring curriculum, AccelerateLiteracy and AccelerateMath, provides intensive, research-based grade-level support with a focus on high-impact prerequisite content and skills that benefits all students.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

All Virginia school divisions are eligible for ALL IN VA funding support.

ALL IN VA calls for schools to spend at least 70% of funding on High-Dosage Tutoring related programs, and calls for 20% investment in Literacy Professional Development, as well as 10% in student mental health.

School divisions should serve all “at risk” and “not proficient” students in grades 3–8. School divisions may choose to serve additional grades, but students who failed reading and/or mathematics should be prioritized in scheduling and service.
Once the students to serve has been determined, school divisions can now begin planning the best tutoring design to support each individual student.

Catapult Learning offers services targeted at each aspect of the ALL IN VA program – including attendance, literacy, and learning.

School divisions can schedule a meeting with Catapult Learning to learn more about how we can be their preferred vendor for ALL IN VA support.
