Miami-Dade Students Achieved an Average Gain of 30 Points in Reading & 25 Points in Math in 2015−16
In 1999, with 60% of its students speaking a primary language other than English, Miami-Dade County Non-Public Schools needed a proven intervention program to address achievement gaps and improve student performance. Catapult Learning was selected by Miami-Dade County to provide a structured, systematic, data-driven intervention program for its Title I-eligible students. During the 2015–16 school year, students continued to show academic gains based on the i-Ready assessment results.
Baltimore Students Achieved an Average Gain of 24 Points in Reading & 26 Points in Math in 2015−16
For over 30 years, Catapult Learning has consistently provided a comprehensive Title I program to address the needs of Baltimore City’s Title I-eligible students. The successful partnership continued during the 2015–16 school year, resulting in substantial academic gains as measured by GRADE/GMADE.
School Improvement Resources Increased Student Performance in Hawaii Schools Over an 8 Year Period
Hawaii’s lowest performing schools partnered with Catapult Learning to improve student achievement during the 2005–2013 school years. Catapult Learning experts put into place a structure that helped ensure high performance on an ongoing basis, including proven research-based school design elements, achievement tools and systems, professional development, and dedicated Catapult Learning coaches to help transform schools. Following a multi-year implementation, Catapult Learning schools outperformed their matched comparison schools in each subject area.
Literacy First’s Targeted School Improvement Program Enhanced Teacher Performance in Oklahoma City
State Education Leadership in Oklahoma partnered with Catapult Learning to provide Literacy First™, a targeted school improvement program designed to build leader and teacher capacity and turn classrooms into engaging and motivating learning environments. This research-based, data-driven program builds an understanding of the role literacy plays in academic achievement and reinforces the skills needed to address student performance challenges in reading comprehension and content areas.
Houston ISD Tutoring Program Delivers Gains in Math & Reading Performance
Serving Title I schools with significant achievement gaps in math and reading is a challenge faced by many districts across the country. Houston Independent School District (HISD) needed a solution that would address these gaps and work towards improving student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR). To make this change happen, HISD partnered with Catapult Learning to provide a flexible and targeted tutoring solution for 1487 Title I students in 19 HISD schools serving this largely at-risk student population.

Saint Joseph Catholic School Students Make Significant Gains in TerraNova® Testing
Beginning in spring 2016 and continuing through the 2016–2017 school year, Catapult Learning partnered with Saint Joseph Catholic School to implement Focus on Achievement, an integrated program of formative assessments, professional development, and print and online teacher resources that helped teachers identify challenges and make instructional improvements to increase student achievement. The collaboration resulted in an overall increase in
TerraNova® Test Scores in Reading, Language, and Math for grades 3–6.
Immediate & Sustained School Improvement in Virginia
The Virginia Department of Education needed a solution that would build continuous, sustained improvement for their struggling schools and ensure that all students maximize their academic potential. Beginning in 2010, Catapult Learning partnered with Virginia DOE to provide Alliance comprehensive turnaround solutions to over 15 priority and focus schools. Delivered by a highly trained team with extensive local experience, Alliance Professional Development Solutions delivered a colaborative change management process aligned to Virginia Standards of Learning.
