Apex Program is an In-District program serving the students of Pikes Peak BOCES. With a dedicated staff, students are able to access both academic and social emotional education in a small and predictable environment. Focused on individualized education, our students have the opportunity to build confidence and competence in a caring environment with the ultimate goal to transition back into a less-restrictive setting. Students are referred by their school district to attend Apex and are generally in grades K–12 (aged 5 to 21). We serve students with serious emotional disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, multiple disabilities and other health impairments.
We are proud to employ licensed special education teachers. Apex provides social workers and through partnership with Pikes PEAK BOCES, additional services such as occupational therapy, speech and language pathologists, and physical therapists are available.
