Baltimore City Title I Services

For over 30 years, Catapult Learning has consistently provided a comprehensive Title I program to address the needs of Baltimore City Title I-eligible students. The successful partnership continued during the 2015–16 school year, resulting in substantial academic gains as measured by GRADE/GMADE.

Catapult Learning provided math and reading intervention services to Title I students in Pre-K through 9th grade in 29 schools during the 2015–16 school year.

Intervention services were provided 2 days a week for approximately 45 minutes each day. Working in small groups with Catapult Learning-trained teachers, students focused on mastering foundational skills in reading and math. Teachers delivered systematic, explicit instruction with scaffolding to ensure that all students succeeded.

Parent Involvement programs complemented intervention services, as parents were encouraged to attend orientation meetings and individual conferences throughout the program while receiving regular progress reports.
