Session Highlights

Across three dynamic Saturday sessions — December 6, 2025, January 24, 2026, and March 7, 2026 — participants will engage in focused workshops on instructional leadership, data-driven decision-making, and building sustainable school cultures.

Each session blends expert facilitation, peer collaboration, and practical tools you can immediately apply in your school community.

3 Days of Engaging Workshops

Leading with Emotional Intelligence

Day 1 focuses on developing self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation as key components of effective leadership. Participants will explore the role of emotional intelligence (EQ) in building trust, improving communication, and fostering a positive school culture. Through interactive reflection, case studies, and peer dialogue, leaders will deepen their understanding of how emotional intelligence directly impacts team dynamics, staff morale, and student outcomes.

Goals:

  • Define the five components of emotional intelligence and their application in educational leadership.
  • Reflect on personal leadership styles to identify strengths and areas for growth in emotional regulation and communication.
  • Practice strategies for managing difficult conversations, navigating conflict, and supporting staff through change.
  • Develop a personal action plan for modeling emotionally intelligent leadership within their school communities.

Building Effective Coaching and Leadership Structures

On Day 2, participants will learn how to establish strong coaching frameworks and operational systems that promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The session will explore time management strategies for balancing competing leadership responsibilities, the design of effective PLCs, and facilitation techniques for productive team meetings. Leaders will engage in hands-on planning to create structures that support teacher growth and student success.

Goals:

  • Identify key components of effective coaching structures that foster reflective practice and data-driven decision-making.
  • Design and implement efficient time management systems that prioritize instructional leadership.
  • Develop frameworks for purposeful PLCs and team meetings aligned to schoolwide goals.
  • Practice facilitation skills that promote collaboration, voice, and shared accountability among staff.

Driving Instructional Growth Through Vision and Data

The final day centers on cultivating instructional excellence through clear vision-setting, strategic use of data, and evidence-based feedback cycles. Participants will examine how to align school goals with classroom practices, observe instruction with a coaching lens, and lead data discussions that inform continuous improvement. By the end of the session, leaders will have tools to drive instructional growth while sustaining a culture of learning and professional trust.

Goals:

  • Connect schoolwide vision and instructional priorities to daily teaching and learning practices.
  • Utilize observation and feedback cycles to support teacher development and instructional improvement.
  • Analyze student performance and formative assessment data to guide decision-making and goal-setting.
  • Develop an action plan for implementing systems of continuous instructional growth across teams.
