High Road School of Philadelphia serves students in grades 7-12 in a safe and nurturing learning environment designed to support students with emotional and other learning disabilities. Our small classes and high staff-to-student ratio allows for personalized instruction and individualized responsiveness for our students. Our social service team offers therapeutic programming in an environment that inspires personal growth. Maintaining transparency and ongoing, open communication among all relevant parties involved in our students’ lives are a major key to our approach.
Our behavior model is based on creating an active and intentional positive peer culture that promotes and celebrates respectful, responsible and appropriate behavior. Through balanced efforts of educational instruction and counseling support, our students can improve academic success, while developing effective coping and positive socialization skills.
