Military Programs

At Catapult Learning, we provide foreign language training and partner with the Department of Defense Educational Agency (DoDEA) to provide professional development services. Our military programs strengthen student performance internationally and develop college and career readiness skills.

Foreign Language Training

Provide foreign language training to young adults using research-based methods and strategies for second-language acquisition. Our training follows the language proficiency levels identified by the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR). The scale is standardized to six base levels, ranging from 0 (no functional ability) to 5 (equivalent to an educated native speaker). We support course development through both paper-based products and electronically delivered learning objects, and provide language training in:

  • Basic acquisition, familiarization and culture

  • Refresher to enhance language training

DoDEA Partnership

We are proud partners of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), a federally operated school system serving more than 74,000 children of active-duty military and Department of Defense civilian families. DoDEA is partnering with Catapult Learning to execute a system-wide transition to College and Career Ready Standards in Literacy (CCRSL). Catapult Learning provides curriculum, face-to-face professional learning, and virtual professional learning services to build the capacity of school faculty and administrators at the Pre-K-12 grade levels. The goal is to increase student academic performance, student motivation, and preparation for college and careers.
