Community Spotlight
The Hebrew Academy of Long Beach (HALB) is a school that is committed to developing “the whole student”. Not only do they conduct a blended learning schedule that allows time for students to work with technology and various teachers in a small group, but they also just recently completed a project where they wrote letters to soldiers heading from New York to Israel. They also wrote letters and packed bags filled with toys to donate to the children of Israel. These projects showcase empathy, global awareness, and exemplify HALB’s commitment to instilling values of compassion and social responsibility in their students.
