The company will serve eligible K−12 students in Volusia County non-public schools.
June 21, 2016, Camden, New Jersey – Catapult Learning, Inc. today announced that the company has been selected as a service provider by the School Board of Volusia County to provide tutorial services to eligible K−12 students in Volusia County non-public schools.
Catapult Learning will provide one-on-one instruction to up to 200 students who have been determined by Volusia County School District to be eligible for and selected for Title I tutoring services in reading and/or math. The implementation will be supervised by a Catapult Learning regionally-based area manager with 20+ years of experience, who will oversee Catapult Learning’s team of Florida-certified teachers dedicated to the Volusia County program.
Catapult Learning has been an education service provider for private school services in Florida since 1985, working with more than 5,000 students within the state of Florida, and has provided dropout recovery services to students, ages 16−21, through its Catapult Academy program since 2015. The company has local offices in Miami, Jacksonville, and Tampa, two Catapult Academy campuses in Daytona Beach and Deltona, and currently operates education programs in 11 counties in Florida, including the neighboring counties of Flagler and Orange as well as the state’s largest counties—Miami-Dade, Duval, and Hillsborough. Catapult’s Florida programs employ a staff of 250 state-certified teachers, program supervisors, and regional managers.
