Student of the Month: Christopher

What has Christopher done over the past month to achieve Student of the Month?

During the month of September Christopher is a student who set a positive example for his peers. He works hard not only on himself, but to help his peers when he can. In September Christopher maintained Blue level and exceeded staff expectations. He can often be found doing odd jobs around the school, telling jokes and singing his favorite songs.

What is something Christopher has accomplished so far this school year that they are proud of?

During the first month of school, Christopher beat his former Reading and Math scores in i-Ready! Chris isn’t the only one who is proud of these scores, his teachers are also very excited. These scores show how hard he has been working in class, and how much progress he has made on his academics.

The High Road Staff really enjoys working with Chris whenever they get a chance. Mr. Jeremy, our transitions coordinator stated that “Christopher’s positive attitude is contagious, and it has been great watching him grow and reach his goals!” His teachers also sounded off on his academic skills and great behavior in class.
