We’re excited to announce that EmpowerU, Catapult Learning’s mental health and resilience solution, has been named a finalist in District Administration’s Top EdTech Products of the Year competition, in the Student Support Technology category. This honor highlights EmpowerU’s success in revolutionizing school-based mental health services by providing faster, more effective support for students.
EmpowerU integrates online learning, personalized goal setting, and 1:1 asynchronous coaching, equipping students with critical resilience and persistence skills to overcome challenges such as anxiety and depression, fostering academic and personal growth.

Recent studies show that more than 42% of students feel sad or hopeless, often resulting in disengagement, decreased motivation, and disruptive behaviors that hinder learning. In fact, the U.S. Surgeon General has described declining student mental health as the “crisis of our time.”
EmpowerU directly addresses the student mental health crisis by seamlessly integrating into the school day, offering measurable outcomes without adding to staff workloads. During the 2023–24 school year, EmpowerU served thousands of students nationwide, with 87% reporting improved focus and attention, and 93% stating the program enhanced their overall well-being. Notably, 89% credited EmpowerU’s 1:1 coaching component as pivotal to their success.
