High Road Academy Impacts The Lives Of Special Education Students

Sensory-Friendly Movie Night Hosted for Special Education Students

Catapult Learning's High Road School of Wright City hosted a free Halloween-themed Movie Night featuring a sensory-friendly showing of “Hotel Transylvania" attended by 25 people, including students and family members. “During sensory-friendly movies, the lights are left on a little higher. This keeps the contrast of the bright colors on the screen from being so harsh. The movie volume is turned down a bit as well.” The story was published by 70 West Sentinel in Missouri. McDonald County Summer Journey Featured on Local Missouri News

McDonald County School District’s Summer Journey program, which runs from May 30 through June 29, was featured on a recent newscast on KFJX Fox 14 News. The network highlighted the Catapult Learning program’s success in McDonald County, which has 56% of its students in attendance for the 2018 Summer Journey program. Catapult Schools’ Career Fair Featured in Local San Diego Newspaper

Springall Academy and Sierra Academy of San Diego, members of the Catapult Learning Schools Group, hosted a Career Fair for the schools' students on April 18th. The event was featured in an article in the May/June 2018 issue of the Mission Times Courier. Several businesses—including the YMCA, Starbucks, and Kona Ice Snow Cone—as well as individual professionals participated in the fair, which was attended by students from the two schools.
