ABLE (Academic, Behavioral & Life Skills Education) Data Tracking System
Catapult Learning’s custom-developed ABLE software tracks, monitors, and reports student data across all facets of our models. The ABLE system has been designed as a data-collection vehicle that drives individualized instruction, informs targeted interventions, and maps out future transition steps in a student’s educational programming at each of our program sites. As a tracking mechanism, ABLE provides a composite and comprehensive picture of student progress, allowing analysis of student advancement and behavioral trends.
Academics
All assessment data (from i-Ready, WMRT, KeyMath, etc.) is compiled and uploaded onto the ABLE platform. From this information, attendance, academic transcripts, grade progression, and classroom performance metrics are generated and shared with the student’s sponsoring school district and other approved individuals/entities, as mandated.
Behavior and Life Skills
ABLE tracks behavioral performance metrics (e.g., attendance rate, number of suspensions, code of conduct adherence, time-outs). Transition services statistics are incorporated to provide a fuller picture of social-emotional progress and preparedness for extra-school experiences (e.g., community involvement, volunteer participation, career readiness, job skills acquisition).
Tracking and Reporting
Both formal (test scores, instruction level ratings, etc.) and informal (teacher notes/commentary) data are uploaded regularly onto ABLE. The data is then categorized, examined, and populated into various reports shared with parents, and other authorized parties.
