Trunk or Treat 2019 was a fun filled day. The students received candy and other goodies from parents and local businesses from around Lima. American Township fire department even stopped out for a visit. Trunk or Treat was the end to our Spirit week here at the center.
Our Friday incentive this week was Game Day! Our high school classes combined and took turns playing different board games. Our gold students each earned cotton candy. Middle School student, Tyler is pictured below enjoying his cherry cotton candy. It was a lot of fun and a great way to end our week.
What impact has Abby had on colleagues and students over the past month? Abby has been an essential asset to our team over the past month. She has taken on several new roles and responsibilities this school year. What has Gavin done over the past month to achieve Student of the Month? The entire school was invited to take part in a fun filled fall field trip. We made the 40 minute bus ride to Convoy, Ohio where we picked pumpkins, played on inflatables, buried our friends in a corn silo, and we even made a few furry friends. The children were able to pet a llama, piglets, and goats. A few of our student's were even brave enough to try zip lining! What a great memory we made!
Mrs. Jenkins helps Upper BEST children with their caramel apples. Each student who had reached the appropriate behavioral level was able to make and eat a caramel apple. It was a sticky good time! We love Wednesday's incentives.

Our high school and middle school BEST students were enjoying their Friday afternoon! Mrs. Robe, Upper BEST teacher and Ms. Bailey, Lower Best Aid along with our Upper Best friends played an exciting game of parachute!
