Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member at school?

Ms. Lexi Miller. She’s really fun and really nice. She has an all-around great personality. We learn a lot from her.

What is one thing you want people to know about kids with autism?

That sounds like something we are discussing on our podcast; disability etiquette. Most people would fear people with autism. People with autism are different, but they are just like us. They learn differently.

What is something you are really proud of having accomplished recently at school?

Getting straight A’s and having my group of buddies!

What do you enjoy most about coming to school every day?

Hanging out with friends mostly and learning about world history.

What would you tell a new student who is just starting at school and is nervous on their first day?

It’s okay to be nervous. I was nervous on my first day. Get to know some new people and you’ll find out that they will help you go through whatever. Its normal to have first day jitters.

What advice do they have for their fellow students on achieving their goals?

Keep working hard and focus on the road ahead!
