Q: You are now in your 5th school year with High Road, what is your favorite part of the program?
A: The culture of our program… hands down. I am grateful to come to a place of work that allows the opportunity to Change Lives.
Q: How would you describe the environment and culture of our program?
A: The High Road culture promotes, professional and personal growth, teamwork, and communication. We are accountable, positive, engaging, encouraging, and always striving for greatness.
Q: What is your favorite student success story?
A: Erika D. I had the opportunity to work with her in one capacity or another from her 9th grade year to her 12th grade year. Watching her grow over the years was an inspiration, culminating in her graduation last May.
Q: What are you most excited for in the upcoming school year?
A: I have worked with all age and grade levels. This year, I have the opportunity to work with the High School students again and I am very excited. The classroom will consist of 2 new staff members and I am thrilled to be able to help them learn the High Road model.
Q: What are your hobbies/interests?
A: I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. As far as hobbies go, crafting is life! I also enjoy being the team mom for my son’s sports teams.
Q: If you could live in any TV show, which would it be and why?
A: Full house- I love being with my whole family, so living under one roof would be very fun/interesting.
Q: What are you most proud of in your professional career?
A: The growth I’ve made both personally and professionally within the program and my ability to help others hold students accountable.
