Dear Parents/Guardians, As the holidays approach, The High Road School of Anne Arundel County would like to invite you to our Thanksgiving Luncheon. The luncheon will be on Monday, November 19th from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Our luncheon will be catered this year, given the sheer volume of guests we have had in the past. Because of this, we need an accurate head count. Please fill out the bottom of this sheet and return it to school by Friday, November 9, 2018. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Staff and students dressed for the holiday. The day was filled with Halloween activities for all levels! Red and yellow students enjoyed popcorn and a movie. Green and blue students went to Solly Park, they played games and got a special pizza lunch.
Students from 6 separate High Road Schools visited High Road School of Harford County on March 23rd for a Mock Interview Day. Students worked with their Transition Coordinators to prepare for the day, which included resume building, determining the appropriate attire, and questions for employers. Community employers donated their time and spoke to students about a range of careers including nursing, real estate, business, and education. The students also had follow-up meetings with their Transition Coordinators to go over their takeaways from the day.
